Typically the plugin is automatically added to your browser when you install Avast Free Antivirus. While it is very useful to keep the plugin activated, it may be a bit intrusive for some users. Especially the green pop-ups ‘This site is safe‘ in the search results. Fortunately it is very easy to either removed the plugin completely or modify the settings so it will be invisible.

If you run a business and use Avast to protect the computers in your office and the data stored on their hard drives, the security solution might block Mozilla Firefox. Avast can detect Firefox as a potential threat, so its File Shield will restrict the application and prevent it from starting. To solve the issue, you need to add the Mozilla Firefox folder to the Exclusions list. Avast does not scan and block applications that are added to its Exclusions list.

I also went to device manager and tried to update online. Everything else went flawless on the install except for my graphics card, but I went to the manufacturers' website and updated that driver. I'm pretty sure that is my tv tuner card. I would really like to get my tv tuner card working if possible. Multimedia video controller driver download windows 7 free. I contacted gateway and they said I would have to update my chipset driver, but there was no support for windows 7 yet.
